How to use BuildAI
Describe what you want, the AI designs it, and the plugin places it block by block. Works on Minecraft 1.8 and newer. Builds use credits from the server owner’s BuildAI account.

Everything you need to make builds in game.
Make your first build
- Stand where you want it and face that way. The build goes in a 16×12×16 area in front of you. Or select an exact area with WorldEdit’s
//wand. - Type
/buildand what you want. For example:/build a cosy medieval cottage with a chimney - Check it and click START. A green outline shows where it will go, and a menu shows the price. Click START (or type
/build confirm) within 60 seconds. Nothing is charged before that. - Watch it build. The AI takes about 20 to 90 seconds to design it, then it builds itself.
Player commands
/build- Opens the main menu: new build, price check, your build, history and the skills shop
/build <description>- Starts a build
/build confirm- Starts the build you just priced
/build cancel- Cancels your build (nothing is charged until the design is done)
/build ideas- Shows example prompts you can click
/build quote- Shows the price without building
/build help- Step-by-step help in game
Build options
Put options before the description.
--size- Area size: width x height x depth
/build --size 24x16x24 a castle --tier- AI quality: fast, balanced or premium
/build --tier premium a castle --skill- Use specific skills for this build
/build --skill medieval-castles a castle
For server owners
Running BuildAI on your server
Set it up once, then manage builds and skills.
Set up your server (one time)
- Install the plugin (and WorldEdit if you want exact areas), then restart the server. Get the plugin from Account → Plugin.
- Run
/buildai setupfor a checklist of what’s left. - Link the server. On the website, go to Account → Servers → Link a server, then paste the command it gives you in game, like
/buildai link K7QM-3XRP.
Admin commands
/buildai- Opens the admin panel: status, credits, all builds, unlink and reload
/buildai setup- A checklist of what’s needed, with clickable fixes
/buildai link <code>- Links the server to a BuildAI account
/buildai unlink- Disconnects the server
/buildai status- Server, account, credits and active skills
/buildai history- The last 10 builds
/buildai reload- Reloads config.yml
Skills
Skills give the AI extra know-how, like redstone or castles. Get them in the skills shop or in game.
/buildai skills- Lists the owner’s skills and which are on
/buildai skills shop- A chest shop to get skills and turn them on or off
/buildai skills enable <skill>- Turns a skill on for this server (up to 5)
/buildai skills disable <skill>- Turns a skill off
Good to know
- You can click buttons in chat, like [START], [CANCEL] and [Try again], instead of typing.
- While a build is being designed and placed, its area is protected and shows particle effects.
- Everything uses permissions, and they default to ops:
buildai.build,buildai.cancel,buildai.admin,buildai.skills.*and so on. Players can see the skills list and browse the shop by default.
